Podium for Covington at The King Of The 360's
Matt Covington Racing - Glenpool, OK. (Feb 12th,2025) Matt Covington joined the USCS this past weekend for the King of the 360’s at Hendry County Motorsports Park. The results were a 13th place finish on the prelude night and a strong podium and 3rd place finish on Saturday for the finale.
“There were some positives from the weekend for sure,” stated Covington. “The first night we struggled to get the car and right rear into the race track, but we improved upon that for Saturday. The car had better speed and with no mechanical issues, that gives me confidence we are headed in the right direction for the core of the year starting in a month or so. We learned some good things for the notebook and looking forward to this weekend at Milton. Also, a big thanks to Vern and all the supporters we have this year making it possible for us to travel up and down the road, chasing another season. And lastly, I need to give a big thanks to Steven and Dale for all their effort and work during this Florida stretch. I’m excited and optimistic to see what this year will bring.”
Up next for Matt and the team is some more USCS and 360 action at Southern Raceway in Milton, Florida for a Friday and Saturday night event.
